Nordic Wild Symbols
On top of the Arctic wilderness backdrop is Nordic Wild’s selection of special features. Despite focusing on flora and fauna, and not Norse mythology, rune symbols have made their way into the game as the lowest-paying symbols, dishing out wins worth no more than 22x a bet. Well, we say runes, but really, these symbols are nothing more than high-playing cards masquerading as runes.
The fauna symbols are worth substantially more. Pinecones, leaves, mushrooms, plants, bears, and reindeer all dish out tasty prizes, with reindeer capable of rewarding fans with wins worth 250x a bet.
Wolves take up the mantle as wild symbols in this game. Save for being substitute symbols; they don’t bring anything else to the table. However, scattered Northern Lights symbols and bonus owls do.
Three, four or five owl symbols will trigger a click-and-win mode where you can choose one of three, two of four, or three out of five prizes offered. You won’t know what they are until you hit them, though. As for the Northern Lights scatters, landing three, four or five of these will trigger eight, twelve or fifteen free spins, and as mentioned, anything you win in this round will be doubled.
