Tanzakura Symbols
Much of the imagery sitting on the reels of the Tanzakura slot is faithful to the theme that Saucify is trying to present. There’s nothing that wouldn’t look out of place in a typical samurai-themed slot, for instance. More importantly, there are no high playing card icons – all the symbols are thematic, and that’s what we want to see.
Rather than choose leaves, snowflakes, throwing stars, hats, cherry blossoms, and swords as its top paying icon, Tanzakura has opted to make the wild symbols dual purpose. The Japanese lady is that symbol, and she can appear stacked on the third reel and as a standard size wild on the rest. Winning combos featuring wilds will have their totals doubled.
Wilds aren’t the only symbols that appear stacked. The samurai can show up stacked on the first and second reels, and the Kubukimono warrior pops up stacked on the fourth and fifth reels. They appear as regularly sized symbols on the others.
Scatters show up as temples in Tanzakura. Three, four or five will initiate a free spin round that delivers ten, fourteen or sixteen free games. These are unusual numbers of free spins, but that is a welcome surprise. There’s nothing overly notable about the free spin bonus, and that is a touch disappointing.
Bird symbols appear as secondary scatters. These bonus symbols will offer one, two or three click-and-win picks if three to five appear, respectively. You’ll be taken to a screen with five symbols to choose your prize.
